So i will show you about my recreation place, i choose Awur Bay Beach

Awur Bay Beach

   Teluk Awur is famous as a spot to see the sunset in Jepara, no wonder there are quite a lot of tourists visiting here every afternoon. There are many activities that we can do in Teluk Awur Jepara, including walking around the beach and playing canoeing.

   As the name implies, Teluk Awur has a characteristic beach that just into the mainland with a semicircular shape. The coastline of Teluk Awur is arguably quite long, but the distance between the coast and the mainland is quite short.

   On the beach there are canoe rentals and tires for playing water on the beach. The waves on the Teluk Awur beach are also quite calm, so it's safe to take the kids on vacation here. visitors who come can freely play, swim and enjoy the beauty of the beach.

   In local tradition, apart from being one of the places to celebrate the Lomban Party, this beach is also believed to have magical powers. believed to be a bath that can cure various skin diseases. Apart from that, Teluk Awur beach is often used as a fishing spot.

   This sloping destination of Teluk Awur beach with calm waves is perfect for a vacation with family and community. for tourists from out of town you also don't need to worry, because near the beach there are also villas and hotels.

   Teluk Awur beach is located in Telukawur village, Tahunan sub-district, Jepara district, Central Java. This beach destination which is much popular as a hangout place is only 4 km or about 30 minutes from the city center of Jepara.

   Awur bay beach is open 24 hours to receive visits. This is also supported by the existence of lodging facilities and hotels around the coast.

The attraction of Teluk Awur Beach:

1. Fun Beach

- Teluk Awur beach has characteristics similar to Bandengan Beach, which is a sloping beach with stunning white sand.

2. Sunset Enchantment

- When the sun begins to set, the mirage effect will make the western sky above the Teluk Awur sea appear orange or reddish yellow. coupled with the breezy breeze and calm waves, thus creating a natural harmony that calms the mind.

3. Myth of Medicinal Water

- The beach is located on Jalan Teluk Awur Tahunan, the beach water is very clean, so it is believed that the surrounding community is able to cure various types of diseases. Because of this myth, don't be surprised if there are public baths around the beachdirectly use beach water.

4. Fishing Spot

- Besides supporting bathing, swimming, snorkeling and various boat rental activities, Teluk Awur beach also provides a place or spot for those of you who like fishing.

5. Traditional Festivals

- The same as other beaches in Jepara, at the peak of Syawalan week or one week after Eid al-Fitr on the Teluk Awur beach, there is always a Lomban Party or sea alms competition. The Lomban (bakda kupat) party has become an annual tradition of the people of Teluk Awur Jepara.

   This tradition is a form of expression of gratitude for the victory after a month of fasting. besides being a tradition, the Lomban Party is also functioned so that it attracts many tourists.
