To explain reasons why something happened and the result of what happened logically

Language Features and Example

REASON: They want to show their dominance 

RESULT: They bully him

Mike is the new kid at the school, so they want to show who the boss is.

REASON: Mike is the new kid at the school 

RESULT: They want to show who the boss is

2. The use of 'because' and 'because of'

We will be closed tomorrow because it is the starting day of social distancing period.

We will study from home tomorrow due to a wider spread of Corona virus.

Covid 19 has been widespreading across the area. Therefore, schools have been temporarily closed.
